We are looking for an experienced teacher with a bachelor or degree in early childhood education.

The right candidate will receive extra training to ensure the school meets its International quality standards. Montessori training is a plus.

This role requires excellent communication skills, creativity, proactivity, and a genuine interest in the holistic development of young learners.

Key Responsibilities

Curriculum Development & Teacher training development

• Develop lesson plans and instructional materials aligned with the Ghanaian Curriculum and International Quality standards.
• Design engaging and interactive lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of all students.
• Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to enhance student participation.

Student Assessment

• Regularly assess and evaluate student progress usingappropriate assessment tools and techniques. Maintain accurate records of attendance, achievements, and assessment results.

  Environment Management

• Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment conducive to effective learning.
• Establish and enforce classroom rules and behaviour expectations to ensure a positive and safe atmosphere.

Parent and Stakeholder Engagement

• Foster strong relationships with parents/guardians, keeping them informed about student progress, achievements, and areas requiring attention.
• Collaborate with colleagues, school administrators, and support staff to promote effective teamwork and a positive school culture.
• Participate in parent-teacher conferences, school events, and meetings as required.

Required Skills or Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Early Childhood education or a relevant field.
• Teaching certification or qualification from a recognized institution.
• Montessori certification or experience with Montessori program.
• Proven experience teaching kindergarten, preferably in a similar educational setting.
• Excellent knowledge of the Ghanaian Curriculum and teaching methodologies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young learners.
• Ability to effectively manage a classroom, maintain discipline, and create a positive learning environment.
